Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Limited is a market leader in commercial and industrial printing solutions along with packaging. It has now officially announced the launch of its AccurioPress 6272P press which is tailored to enable customers to revamp their monochrome printing goals. Commercial printing, centrally deployed or in-house printing functionalities and print-for-pay solutions are all focus areas for the completely configured digital press. It now replaces the bizhub PRESS 2250P.

It is based on the AccurioPress 6136P single-engine version and the flagship digital press makes use of special dual-engine features for printing 16,000+ images for each hour. Customers automatically get benefits owing to the best in segment reliability/durability, productivity, automation and efficiency levels. They also optimize their overall investments via lower TCO (total cost of ownership) which is comparable to similar devices in the market.

The 6272P prints out 272 ipm duplex for enabling adherence to stringent printing timelines, while backing diverse media including uncoated and coated stock weighing 40-350 gsm and delivering uninterrupted and lengthy operations courtesy of its output capabilities of 18,600 sheets with three stackers of the highest capacity. The tandem and engine combo via the TD-502 ensures double speed and productivity in a single production mechanism, thereby ensuring higher image quality and a diverse range of features which are completely automated. The press makes use of LED print heads at the 1200×1200 dpi rate. It also deploys CIE colour space while enabling the conversion of colour documents to their black and white versions. It ensures gradations which are richer as compared to regular conversions.

Konica Minolta is looking at helping customers streamline their digital and evolutionary journeys while revamping their printing abilities and possibilities, thereby leading to a higher profitability boost in turn. The AccurioPress 6272P comes with even more features for meeting advanced and fast evolving requirements and applications of customers through the fusion of unique features including best in segment reliability, dual-engine technologies, automation and more efficiency. The lower ownership costs are the icing on the cake.
