ARC-UK Technologies will become one of the first UK printing businesses to completely turn green. The company will be one of the first in Kent to work towards carbon neutrality with its £1.2 million site near the town centre in Dartford that has been newly established. The company is the UK division of ARC Document Solutions and offers document imaging and digital printing solutions.

It has shifted to this new facility spanning 30,000 sq ft near the A2026 Victoria Road and this is part of a growing propensity towards relocation to Kent from London amongst businesses. The unit has a space for relaxation, team building and also for customers and employees. There is a golf simulator, various interactive displays, refreshment facilities and a bowling game as well. The company already has 60 people on its rolls in the United Kingdom, while aiming at hiring 12 more local personnel by year end. The new decision by the company is in sync with the Kent County Council and its blueprint for turning carbon neutral by the year 2050. The Dartford facility will be setting a new benchmark according to company officials and it will also have space for future growth and local recruitment. The company differentiates itself by providing archival and scanning solutions which may be used by clients through its own proprietary software and technology. The fusion of document technology products and digital printing solutions has been a unique proposition, while enabling steady business growth, particularly with people planning to embark on digitization of their documentation after the pandemic.
