Installation of Print Driver 1 and 2- 

  • Part 1 installation

First you have to inform your Mac that a non-Apple software, the printer driver will be installed.

Step 1: Select “Apple” available on the top left-hand corner and click on the “System Preferences” option.

Step 2: Choose Security and Privacy.

Step 3: On the General Tab, click on Lock to unlock it.

Step 4: You need to put in your NUSD password.

Step 5: Select the “Anywhere” option and close the window. 

  • Part 2 installation

Step 1: Open the District Share Drive then click on the ALL STAFF option. Then select READ ONLY to move to Toshiba Drivers.

Step 2: Click on the “TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_X7.dmg” option.

Step 3: The Double Click on the Install Open box option.

Step 4: You need to follow a set of prompts. Click on Continue and then Accept at every step.

Step 5: Then Click on Continue.

Step 6: Click on Agree.

Step 7: Click on Install.

Step 8: Put in your NUSD password to log in.

Step 9: Click on Close then move to the following step. 

  • Printer Mapping- 

Step 1: Select “Apple” available on the top left-hand corner and click on the “System Preferences” option.

Step 2: Click on the print and scan option.

Step 3: Enter + to add a new device.

Step 4: Select IP.

Step 5: Enter the IP address.

Step 6: Change the name of the Printer so you remember the device you need.

Step 7: Select the “Use” option from the drop-down menu to select TOSHIBA ColorMFP-X7 USA.

Step 8: Click on Add.

  • Configuration of the printer

Step 1: After completing the above steps, click on OK.

Step 2: Select the Saddle Stitch Finisher option.

Step 3: Choose 1, 2, and LCD option from the drawer drop-down menu.

Step 4: Then Click on OK.

  • Configuration Settings in MS word

Step 1: Open MS WORD Doc.

Step 2: Select the print option from the File drop-down tab.

Step 3: Select Copies and Pages and choose Color Setting 1.

Step 4: Select Mono from the colour type tab.

Step 5: Choose Copies and Pages and click on print mode.

Step 6: Put the department code in the checkbox. 

Step 7: Select the “Save current settings” as the preset.

Step 8: Name the printer setting and you are good to go.
