Canon U.S.A. Inc. has launched a revolutionary imagePROGRAF TC-20 24-inch large-format printer for better access and comparative affordability for teachers, engineers, shop owners, architects, and graphic designers, among those using classrooms, homes, and offices for getting work done. This is the first such mass market 24-inch big-format printing solution at a price lower than $1,000 and the device can be used manageably on a desktop.

The imagePROGRAF TC-20 will be fitting into home workspaces, satellite units, schools, smaller offices, and other temporary offices with ease. It offers Canon’s cutting-edge technology along with precision prints, roll paper-feeding, automatic sheet feeder, and high-capacity ink bottles as well. This ensures comparative affordability, reliability, and top-notch performance.

The printer can also switch automatically from cut sheet paper to roll paper with no-spool loading of roll paper being another attribute. The front-operating printer enables easy ink bottle swapping, paper media replenishment, cartridge replacements, and settings management via the touch screen colour panel. The printer has already obtained the Gold rating from the EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool), which is the highest such rating till now for any printer in the imagePROGRAF line-up. It also has the lowest power consumption figures for any such printer till date.

The printer can take till 100 letter-size sheets and 50 of the plain 11” x 17” size along with roll sizes going up to 24 inches in terms of their overall width. There are also diverse choices of media while the printer gets four 70 milliliter high-capacity ink bottles, lowering the requirement for ink changes on a frequent basis, thereby saving on the cost of replenishment and time alike. There are several workflow and creative offerings that are provided free for customers. There is a sizable list of compatible software as well.
