Brother Printers has officially launched 12 thermal desktop printers (4-inch) which have been tailored specially for the healthcare, retail and logistics sectors. The TD-4 Series has been tailored to enable better speed and supply chain standards along with best-in-industry performance and superior connectivity. The range covers models which have direct thermal for lower costs and lesser permanent labels and receipts for enhanced volume or even thermal transfer printing technologies for labels and receipts which are harder-wearing and more robust along with diverse DPIs and printing speeds.
Added features have been chosen specially for catering to requirements in every industry including peel, tear, cut and release functions. Users can easily print and design from the outset with the free P-touch Editor label design software from Brother Printers. This will ensure numerous templates, label development and barcode creation. The connectivity choices include Wireless, USB, Bluetooth, Network, dual wireless radio band and AirPrint.
Brother International Australia mobile print and labelling expert David Molloy has stated that expectations of customers are increasing and they are looking for good returns, delivery on a same day basis and combating disruption from competition worldwide by keeping their supply chain more adaptive and flexible. The TD-4 range has already diversified amply in order to ensure better optimized operational efficiencies. Right from logistics and warehousing to healthcare, these devices will be providing higher strategic value and accuracy along with more reliability. This will also ensure higher time savings and lower costs at every juncture in the supply chain system.
The printers have 2-year return to base warranties for the hardware and this is 6 months for the print heads. An optional add-on is rapid exchange for lowering overall downtime.
