After you select this mode, the device will automatically obtain the subnet mask, the IP address, primary WINS address of the server, default gateway, POP3 server address, secondary WINS address of the server, and SMTP address of the server, all from the DHCP. If the DHCP is not supported in the device, then an appropriate IP address will be assigned with the help of Auto-IP addressing.   

  • Through the DHCP server only

If the DHCP has been configured with the local network and there is no need for Auto-IP addressing, you can choose the “No Auto-IP Addressing” option. Once this is done, the subnet mask, the IP address, Default gateway, secondary and primary WINS address of the server, POP3 server address, SMTP server address will be obtained automatically through the DHCP server. The Auto-IP addressing will remain disabled.

Setup through DHCP and Auto-IP server

  • Click on the Network button from the ADMIN.
  • Select the IPv4 button.
  • Click on the Dynamic button from the Address mode.
  • Click on “Enter”
  • Proceed to another network as required and click on Apply now.

Setup through DHCP server only

  • Click on the Network button from the ADMIN.
  • Select the IPv4 button.
  • Select the No-Auto IP under the Address mode.
  • Click on Enter.
  • Proceed to another network as required and click on Apply now.

Setup through Static IP Address

  • Click on the Network button from the ADMIN.
  • Select the IPv4 button.
  • Click on the Static option under the Address mode.
  • Click on IP Address and enter the address, default gateway, and subnet mask with the help of digital keys. 
  • Click on Enter.
  • Proceed to another network as required and click on Apply now.
